do a lot, get not much of anywhere, lose the will to do anything, suddenly learn a million new things and do something incredible, keep learning, don’t get too much further, hate self again for it, but then create something far beyond your expectations again, rinse and repeat

right now i’m riding the wave of just feeling like i’ve made a significant leap with my work, and not all that long ago i was in the BOOHOO MY ASS state so hey

yep i get like this with my drawing work

i’ll often get into a state of where i feel like everything i draw is becoming stale unimproved crap or just isn’t any good but i manage to learn or try something new or improve in some way and i’ll feel a ton better about my work

and then once that’s died down it starts all over again!!

(and i seriously thought it said “time spent working in vegas” first. i was staring at it trying to figure out if it was like…from a showgirls blog or something……)
